綜合媒體報道，所謂哈佛大學(xué)“校訓(xùn)”在世界各地尤其在中國互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上盛傳已久。對此，哈佛大學(xué)校方近日在其官網(wǎng)上表示，這些校訓(xùn)都是假的，在哈佛墻上看不到所謂的校訓(xùn)，并稱所謂校訓(xùn)都是好事者編造的。

　　2013年7月16日，一名網(wǎng)友在哈佛圖書館官網(wǎng)留言提問：“我聽說在哈佛大學(xué)圖書館的墻上可以看到校訓(xùn)，請問在哪里可以看到？”。該問題引發(fā)了廣泛的關(guān)注，瀏覽量高達14萬。

　　哈佛大學(xué)校圖書館管理員表示：“關(guān)于哈佛大學(xué)的校訓(xùn)在網(wǎng)上早已盛傳，尤其是在中國，但我可以證明，哈佛任何墻壁上都沒有所謂的校訓(xùn)�！�

　　這個回復(fù)最后還援引《華爾街日報》2012年11月15日的報道稱，新一代中國學(xué)生對所謂校訓(xùn)的靈感僅僅來自于一個關(guān)于哈佛的騙局。

　　關(guān)于中國盛傳的哈佛校訓(xùn)有很多版本，雖是杜撰，卻也有一定道理。例如：“此刻打盹，你將做夢；而此刻學(xué)習(xí)，你將圓夢�！保═his moment will nap, you will have a dream; But this moment study, you will interpret a dream.）

　　“我荒廢的今日，正是昨日殞身之人祈求的明日�！�(I leave uncultivated today, was precisely yesterday perishes tomorrow which person of the body implored.)

　　“學(xué)習(xí)時的苦痛是暫時的，未學(xué)到的痛苦是終生的�！� (Time the study pain is temporary, has not learned the pain is life-long.)
